With the continued below freezing temperatures and the precipitation occurring and expected to occur, Veribest ISD has cancelled school and all extracurricular activities for Wednesday, February 1. Temperatures are expected to begin rising on Thursday so at this time, we will have a delayed start at 10:00 am for Thursday, February 2. Busses will run two hours later on Thursday. If there are any additional changes, that information will be posted on our school Facebook page and our website.
We are looking at our basketball games vs Blackwell that were postponed on Tuesday to be made up on Thursday. Times will be released once we get closer to Thursday and will be dependent on temperatures.

In an abundance of caution, VISD has made the decision that the safest option for our students today is a 12 noon release. Busses will run at 12:00. Please stay safe on the roads. Parents may sign their children out at any time before noon.

Monday for our junior high basketball games in Robert Lee, we will start with our girls game at 5:00 and our boys game at 6:00.

Tuesday, January 31st will be the 100th day of school! We can't wait to see all of our 100 year old students!
Our high school basketball games on Tuesday vs Blackwell have been moved to Varsity girls at 4:00 and Varsity boys at 5:15 due to possible inclement weather. No JV games will be played.

There has been a late change in our basketball games for tonight. The Brontë JV boys are unable to play so our JV girls game will now start at 5:00 followed by our varsity teams at their normal game time of 6:15 and 7:30.
