Parents – If you need to reach out to your student’s teacher(s), you can now do so on the Veribest ISD Website or App. Just click on the “Staff” tab, find your students teacher in the list, and then click “Send Message/Send Email”. Some of you have already used this feature and we apologize if you never received a response. Our new Website/App is hosted by the platform THRILLSHARE so when you send an email from the Website/App it shows up in staff inboxes as a message from THRILLSHARE. Staff members were receiving these emails and deleting them because they believed they were email spam. We informed all district staff members yesterday about messages received from the Website/App, so you should now be able to use this communication tool to quickly reach out to your student’s teacher(s). Good afternoon Falcons,
Today we received notification of another student who is lab confirmed positive with covid. Each time we have a positive case, it results in multiple other students being required to quarantine due to close contact. In an effort to try to get ahead of the curve, we are transitioning all students grades PK-12 to remote instruction for the remainder of this week. Assuming no further developments or new cases between now and then, all required quarantines will have expired when we return next Tuesday, January 19th. Extracurricular events remain unaffected at this time with one exception. Junior High basketball games against Paint Rock tomorrow and Cornerstone next Monday have been cancelled.

Due to inclement weather and temperatures forecasted to drop below freezing overnight, Veribest ISD will be closed tomorrow Monday January 11, 2021. This includes all extracurricular activities / games. We plan to return at regular time on Tuesday and details will be released soon regarding makeup dates. Please stay safe.

The Veribest TAFE Chapter collected non-perishable food items during the month of December. We want to thank the Veribest ISD Community for generously donating items. The food was divided up this past week and delivered to Veribest ISD families in hopes of making their holidays a little happier! Veribest TAFE wants to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! We hope you all have a safe and happy holiday!

There will be a spirit line today beginning at 2:30 for Alliyah Harrison as she travels to the state cross country meet this weekend in Round Rock. Please remind students NOT to high five or touch Alliyah and to wear their masks during the send-off. Signs and cheering are encouraged!
