We have a few changes for our boys' games...
Friday vs. Bronte here we will start at 4:00 with JV and 5:00 with Varsity. This is to help Bronte due to their girls having a play in game Friday evening for a playoff spot.
Next week we were originally scheduled to play on Tuesday here vs. Garden City but those games will now be played on Monday. JV boys will start at 5:00 with Varsity following.
We are currently working on details for the Bi-District round of the playoffs for our Lady Falcons. As soon as those are nailed down, we will send that info out as well.

Wednesday, February 8th, we will have early release at 11:30 for a scheduled teacher training. The buses will run at this time.
Veribest ISD is proud to announce that we will have three athletes representing our school playing in the FCA All-Star games and participating in the All-Star week this summer! Cora Blackwell will be competing in volleyball, and Olivia Abbott and Callie Briley will be competing in golf. Senior athletes from our very large FCA region were nominated by their own coaches and are chosen by a committee of other coaches. Well done young ladies! Your school and community are so proud of you!

Varsity girls at 6:15
Varsity boys at 7:30
Robert Lee will not have a JV girls team tomorrow.

The basketball games that were originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday, January 31, vs Blackwell have been rescheduled for Saturday, February 4, with the Varsity girls starting at 1:00 followed by the Varsity boys at 2:15. Let’s go Falcons! 🏀
With the continued idea of the safety of our staff and students who come from all different directions, VISD will be closed on Thursday, February 2. The Varsity basketball games that were tentatively set for Thursday night will also be rescheduled. As of right now, for Friday we will follow our normal Friday bell schedule.

With the continued below freezing temperatures and the precipitation occurring and expected to occur, Veribest ISD has cancelled school and all extracurricular activities for Wednesday, February 1. Temperatures are expected to begin rising on Thursday so at this time, we will have a delayed start at 10:00 am for Thursday, February 2. Busses will run two hours later on Thursday. If there are any additional changes, that information will be posted on our school Facebook page and our website.
We are looking at our basketball games vs Blackwell that were postponed on Tuesday to be made up on Thursday. Times will be released once we get closer to Thursday and will be dependent on temperatures.

In an abundance of caution, VISD has made the decision that the safest option for our students today is a 12 noon release. Busses will run at 12:00. Please stay safe on the roads. Parents may sign their children out at any time before noon.
